Established in 1995, the Catanger Llamas have been a popular attraction for visitors to the Northamptonshire countryside, offering their company as you wander across pastures, woodland and cutting through the beautiful surroundings of the Shire. Suitable for physically fit participants from the age of 8 upwards, the trek covers around 3.5-4 miles and takes place in most weather conditions.

If architecture and history is your thing, you should definitely take a tour of 78 Derngate, the final commission of the late Charles Rennie Mackintosh. 04/06 Family Fun Day

Attracting over 3000 people per year, the event held by the Rotary Club of Wellingborough Hatton is a well-established date in the diary for Northamptonshire with plenty for the family. Food stalls, amusements and entertainment throughout the day from many local charities, companies and artists with a prize draw for all exhibitors too. Entry to the event is free and will be opened by the Mayor of Wellingborough at 12noon until 5pm. A full-on 1940s re-enactment including living history groups, military vehicles, black market traders, air raids, vintage transport and parades finished off with a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly-past.
