A great day out for all the family, Winchester Cathedral is Europe's longest medieval cathedral decoated with 12th century paintings, carvings and contemporary art leaving you in awe as you walk through. Hawk Conservancy Trust
A visitor centre and charity that works on the rehabilitation and conservation of birds of prey. Set amidst 22 acres of wildflower meadows and surrounded by green woodland, it's the perfect location to witness the daily flying demonstrations of owls, kites, hawks, cultures and eagles that form part of the Trust's residents. The adventure playground might be a welcome break for the energetic kids that need to burn off some energy in between shows. A tractor ride takes the kids around the permiter during summer months, highlighting the different species through talks along the way.
